It was a delightful experience dealing with Laura Kay and the other people at Riverside.
The list is long but I would hate to bore you.
My aircondition was repaired twice and still doesnt work. Thank god the cold weather has come. Oh but wait, the heat doesn't work. Fan turns on but pilot does not lite. I was told I would have to turn my trailer into the dealer for approval to be repaired. It will take 7 to 14 days for the approval. WHAT PART DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND I live in my trailer!
It was definitely not worth what I paid for it, but I can't afford to trade out of it.
Our little camper is usually the "Belle" of the campground.
We bought a whitewater toyhauler to go camping with our Harleys. Found an 18 footer that was the perfect size for 3 day weekends. The front crumpled in. It leaks in the front and the left rear. The flooring has been completely ruined. The door of the refrigerator broke off. The ceiling vents have completely rotted. We haven't even had it 2 years yet. Complete lemon. Will never spend money on a riverside camper again. We've had several campers over the years. We are not rookies. Would not recommend them to anyone.
Wonderful experience. We can't express enough how well we were treated. We were there for 4 days while a few issues were being taken care of on our trailer. They had us stay in a 5th wheel fully equipped on their lot. Daniel worked on our trailer. He went above and beyond to make us happy. He came to us everyday and talked with us to make sure we were ok and to update us. He was so patient and professional. We love our trailer and will never forget our experience. We are thankful and blessed by this experience!
I bought a 2018 retro. Beware those who fall in love with the way it looks like I did. I'm a disabled Vet and live in mine and travel around the country volunteering to help clean up from the storms. I have had people take pictures of mine and asked many question.
Love our Riverside RV Retro 189R. Interior construction is excellent, Windows are high quality with helpful tinting. The bench seats are super comfy. Expect to add extra cushion to the bed as the mattress is thin. She pulls like a charm, the dealer (Bobby Combs) was very helpful and provided a thorough 3 hour orientation. Like previously mentioned, this camper gets noticed for its clean lines and sharp saying. We purchased the 7 year warranty. Happy campers!
Look harder at the AESTHETICS of this trailer. I have not used my shower in mine because I park at parks that have showers but the walls are coming unglued, the toilet has come unset and the sink is put in sideways. Mirror in put in to open right to left so it can,t be used. Look closely at the craftsmanship. Very poorly. The table broke after one use. One of the bedroom doors slides broke driving across country. Yes it was snapped in place.
We had a problem with our Retro 155 that our local dealer choose not to deal with but instead referred us to Laura Kay Meyer at Riverside. Our camper had some faulty caulking that resulted in a leak that damaged an interior panel. Laura Kay and the fine staff took care of our camper and repaired it to as new condition.
